Design using reclaimed materials to match the surrounding architecture.

This garden had been neglected and left for several years and had great potential given the position of the old farmhouse and its’ view.

Once the old lawn had been removed and the area had been levelled, we created a new banking to the edge to accommodate the slight gradient across the garden.

Concrete footings were laid for a circular seating area, through which a metal pergola would be positioned.

The circular wall was built from reclaimed sandstone and capped with sand-blasted new cut sandstone copings.

Reclaimed Yorkshire paving flags were laid to the paths and circular patioand the plant beds were improved with lots of new soil and compost.

The pergola was drilled through into the wall’s centre cavity and levelled up to sit flat.
