After excavating the soil and sub-soil and removing it all from site, the concrete block-work could be built - this has not only retained the surrounding ground but provides raised planters to both sides.

 

 

 

 

 

The block work was then clad with natural granite tiles and capped with granite setts. The steps to the two lawned areas were constructed in the same way.

The joints between the granite tiles have been sealed with a matching resin and brushed smooth.  Panache paving and a lighting scheme installed to the lower area, and 2nd & 3rd levels have been finished with new turf and can now be used and enjoyed.

 

 

 

The fencing to either side was covered with willow panels and bamboos, tree ferns and grasses added to the planters to give the garden height and depth.
